The NBA fined Anthony Edwards $100,000 for using profane language during a televised interview.
Anthony Edwards will again have to cough up some money for his remarks.
The NBA fined the Minnesota Timberwolves star $100,000 for “using profane language during a live television interview."
Edwards made the comments after the Timberwolves beat the Rockets on December 27.
“I’m like, s—, I’m going for the win. Like Gilbert Arenas said, I don’t do overtime, so f— it,” Edwards said in the televised interview.
According to the league, the fine amount was “based in part on Edwards’ history of using profane language during media interviews.”
Edwards has been fined $224,000 this season, with $175,000 of the total amount for criticizing the officiating and using profane language in interviews.
