Landry Shamet was waived in September but has agreed to a new deal to return to the New York Knicks.
The New York Knicks are getting Landry Shamet back after both parties agreed to a deal, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Shamet was waived back in September after a preseason game when he dislocated his shoulder. Before the injury, he was expected to make the regular season roster.
Before his return to the Knicks, Shamet played in the G League for the Westchester Knicks, averaging almost 11 points per game.
Throughout his NBA Career, Shamet has averaged 10.8 points in 22 minutes per game and has shot 38.4% from the 3-point area.
