The Golden State Warriors beefed up their roster by acquiring Dennis Schroder in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets.

Many wonder how Schroder, who has been averaging 18.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game this season, will fit in with the Warriors. But Draymond Green believes it will be the Warriors that will need to adjust to Schroder.

"I don't think he was necessarily brought here to fit," Green said. "We play a certain style of basketball that he does not really play. And I don't think the goal is to get him to play the style of basketball that we play. We need someone that can do the things that he does and so I'm looking forward to us adjusting to him."

Green added that they are looking forward to seeing Schroder play his usual game and how the Warriors can complement his style of play whenever he’s on the floor.

“He'll have to adjust to some things and he's a pro, he understands that," Green continued. "He's a pro, he understands that. But we have to adjust to him because he's bringing something that this team needs. To just make him fall in line of what we do, we'd be wasting our time even bringing him here. We need somebody that can do what we necessarily don't do, and I think that's what he'll be for us."

Steph Curry is also eager to take the court with Schroder, who can share some of the ball-handling duties with him.

“Excited about the opportunity to play against a guy that you have played against for a long time," Curry said. "He's a true competitor. Can create, score, run an offense, or a whole lineup. Excited to see him plug in. A guy that I can play with in the backcourt, can handle a lot of ball-handler responsibilities when I'm off the court,” said Curry.
