Evan Fournier appeared self-critical for the turnovers he made in the closing minutes of Olympiacos' loss to Anadolu Efes. "It's me, it's my fault," the Frenchman admitted.

Olympiacos lost 89-91 and dropped to 2-2. Fournier scored 13 points in the last 6:22 of the third quarter, but was then subbed out and stayed on the bench for the first minutes of the last period.

The French superstar scored 20 points on 7/11 from the field, but made two poor decisions in the final minutes of the game that took a toll on his team.

With Efes leading 87-86 and 1:24 to play, Fournier lost the ball. Then, in another play, he drove to the basket and tried to make the pass, but saw Jordan Nwra steal the ball and Elijah Bryant hit the floater to make it 89-86.

"It's me. It's my fault," Fournier told Novasports. "There’s two bad plays. One where I get my pocket picked because my dribble is too high and the other one is just a bad read."

The French international said he felt well during the game, but added that he made "two big turnovers to lose the game" where his team needed him the most.

"That’s frustrating," he remarked.

"It doesn’t matter which game it is, there's always positives and negatives," he continued.

"We did some good things offensively. We moved the ball pretty well. We started the game well. We have to build on that. And make sure we take care of rebounding and the turnovers out of the game first," he concluded.
