EA7 Emporio Armani Milan have announced that big man Ousmane Diop suffered a right ankle sprain, though no bone lesions were found. He will be re-evaluated in 3-4 weeks.
Diop sustained the injury late in the third quarter during a EuroLeague Round 4 loss to Zalgiris Kaunas on Thursday night.
The 24-year-old played nearly nine minutes without scoring before leaving the court with the assistance of his teammates.
So far this season, Diop is averaging 6.0 points and 4.3 rebounds over three EuroLeague games.
