"Let's please leave our young star alone. CB [Christian Braun] and I never discussed him passing along the number 0. I didn't want, inquire about, or request the number 0 because I chose to mark this new change with a 'new' number," he noted on his Instagram story.
The media reported that Westbrook, who had recently joined the Denver Nuggets, had asked Braun to take on his previous number,0, and that Braun didn't want to give him his number.
