It's been one year since Dante Exum played for Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade, but a lot has changed.
Exum for a Partizan team that was one win away from the EuroLeague Final Four. However, after the 2022-23 season, Exum and Mathias Lessort were the biggest pieces that Partizan lost.
However, after an unsuccessful 2023-24 campaign, even more changes took place. The Serbian powerhouse now has only 6 players on its roster, while Kevin Punter, Zach LeDay, James Nunnally, Aleksa Avramovic, and others have left.
Nevertheless, Exum believes that these changes are for the better.
"I think it's good, and every team needs to go for it," Exum told BasketNews about Partizan's rebuild. "I've talked to a lot of the guys who were there. I was just kind of trying to chase that feeling that we had when we were there."
"I think now for them to kind of go in a different direction is good. Some of the guys that get out play different roles in other teams. I think it's good for everybody," Exum added.
