Vanja Marinkovic returned to Partizan by signing a 2-year contract that will keep him with the Serbian club until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Vanja Marinkovic is officially returning to his boyhood club Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade.
Partizan announced that Marinkovic signed a 2-year deal that will keep with the club until the end of the 2025-26 season. The 27-year-old became the first Partizan signing in this off-season.
Marinkovic joined the Partizan youth team in 2011 before joining the senior team in the 2013-14 campaign. He spent playing for Partizan until the end of the 2018-19 season before joining Valencia Basket and, later, Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz.
Marinkovic played in Baskonia for three seasons. He averaged 11.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 8.6 PIR per game in 37 EuroLeague appearances during the 2023-24 season.
He put up similar numbers in the Spanish ACB League, averaging 11.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 8.3 EFF per game in 33 appearances.
