According to Shams Charania from The Athletic, Durant is expected to return to Team USA practice on Friday.
Additionally, Durant might already make his debut with the US this summer against South Sudan on Saturday, July 20th, or against Germany on Monday, July 22nd.
Durant was previously sidelined with a calf strain, which forced him to miss the majority of the preparatory period with the team.
Team USA is placed in Group C of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games alongside Serbia, South Sudan, and Puerto Rico. The Olympics start on July 26th, with Team USA beginning its quest toward Olympic gold on July 27th against Serbia.
