According to Shams Charania, Caldwell-Pope is declining his $15.4 million player option for the 2024-25 season to become a free agent.
Last season, Caldwell-Pope averaged 10.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game in 76 regular season appearances for the Nuggets.
The 31-year-old guard joined the Nuggets in the 2022 offseason and won the NBA title in 2023.
The Nuggets are also expected to reach an agreement on a 4-year, $209 million deal with Jamal Murray.
