According to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press, Adebayo will be part of the Heat culture for three more years.
The center is slated to sign a three-year, $166 million maximum contract with his team, per Shams Chanaria of The Athletic.
Adebayo, aged 26, has been with the Miami Heat since 2017 when he was first selected No. 14 in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Throughout his playing career, the American was named NBA All-Star three times (2020, 2023, and 2024) and received citations in the NBA All-Defensive First Team (2024) and NBA All-Defensive Second Teams (2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023).
