Furkan Korkmaz confirmed that his new team should be revealed in June or July.
One of the biggest Turkish free agents, Furkan Korkmaz, shared a short message about his future.
The former Philadelphia 76ers guard confirmed that his future should be resolved quite soon.
"We'll see. In the summer, June or July, we will all find out what will happen," Korkmaz told NFcomtr.
During the 2023-24 season, Korkmaz averaged 8 minutes, 2.5 points, 0.9 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game in 35 appearances for the 76ers.
In February, Korkmaz asked the 76ers to be traded, and his wish was granted. The 26-year-old was included in the Buddy Hield trade. In return, the Indiana Pacers received Korkmaz, Marcus Morris, Furkan Korkmaz, and three second-round picks.
However, soon after, the Pacers waived Korkmaz, and he spent the rest of the season without a team. Korkmaz spent all of his 6.5 seasons in the NBA with the 76ers.
Before coming to the NBA, Korkmaz spent 4 seasons with the Anadolu Efes Istanbul.
