In addition, he has good court vision and can facilitate the offense, finding open teammates and making smart decisions with the ball. Back in the Houston Rockets days (2012-16), one of his teammates was none other than NBA superstar James Harden.

To this day, Harden holds the Lithuanian big man in high regard.

"D-Mo is one of the most skilled big men I've ever played with," Harden told BasketNews' Donatas Urbonas. "Left-handed, can finish around the rim with both hands, shoot the three, and pass the ball very well. I really enjoyed my time as his teammate in Houston."

This duo reached the Western Conference Finals in 2015, where they lost to the eventual champions, the Golden State Warriors.

Harden began his streak of All-Star selections in 2013, while Motiejunas recorded his best numbers overseas, averaging 7.8 points and 4.0 rebounds over 214 games during his time with the Rockets.

However, D-Mo was not the biggest fan of Harden's play, as he previously mentioned: "It's not a coincidence that he hasn't won any titles."
