Karl-Anthony Towns was locked in throughout the game after getting flak for his subpar play in the previous games. He ended with 25 points on 9-of-13 shooting and knocked down 4-of-5 triples.

Anthony Edwards, who led the team with 29 points, praised Towns for his aggressiveness in Game 4.

"Everything worked well for him. He was super confident. He wasn't worried about any shots previous to the shots he hit tonight," Edwards told reporters.

"He played exceptionally well. He came through big time - he's the reason we won tonight."

Even TNT analyst Charles Barkley lauded Towns for his performance in Game 4.

"Karl-Anthony Towns played ball tonight," Barkley said in the post-game show. "He saved the Timberwolves' season tonight. So just give him his flowers, he deserves it."

The Timberwolves hope to win Game 5 in Minnesota to extend the series.
