Rick Carlisle, who coaches the Indiana Pacers, was fined by the NBA.
In an announcement by the NBA, it was stated that Carlisle received a $35 thousand fine "for public criticism of the officiating and questioning the integrity of the league and its officials."
Carlisle had voiced strong criticism after a Game 2 loss to the New York Knicks with a score of 130-121. He was ejected before the end of the game then.
Then, the Pacers submitted a petition questioning 78 calls to the NBA, a grand total of calls from Game 1 and Game 2 of the series.
Currently, the Pacers are 2-0 behind the Knicks in the semifinals of the Eastern Conference.
