After a 128-103 loss to the Thunder on the 30th of March, Vogel gave remarks to Duane Rankin targeting Lu Dort.

"The league has got to look at all the flopping that Lu Dort does cause it's ridiculous how he gets calls," Vogel said. "If they're going to get calls like that, then you're going to have an advantage. You can't just fall down every time there's contact and get a whistle," he criticized the Canadian guard.

The blowout loss was crucial for the Suns, which are currently battling for a play-in spot.

At the moment, the Suns are 7th in the Western Conference with 43 wins and 31 losses. They are followed closely by the Sacramento Kings, which have 42 wins and 31 losses, and the Los Angeles Lakers with 41 wins and 33 losses.

As for Lu Dort and the Thunder, they are having a season to remember and currently share the 1st spot with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Dort himself is averaging 10.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game, on top of being one of the team's leaders in defense.
