The news was confirmed by Partizan president Ostoja Mijailovic, who revealed that Vukcevic, 21, activated his NBA exit clause. Per EPSN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the player has signed a two-year deal and will join the Wizards for the final weeks of this season.

Vukcevic was drafted with the 42nd pick by the Washington Wizards in the 2023 NBA Draft.

Mijailovic added that the seven-figure compensation will be split between Partizan and Vukcevic's former team Real Madrid.

According to Bojan Brezovac from MozzartSport, the Wizards will have to pay a $1.2 million release clause, meaning Partizan and Real Madrid will receive $600,000 each.

Vukcevic averaged 9 minutes, 4.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 5.1 PIR per game in 12 EuroLeague appearances for Partizan this season.

In the ABA League, his numbers were 19 minutes, 10.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 11.4 EFF per game.
