Boston Celtics star Jrue Holiday will be on the 12-man roster for Team USA in the Paris Olympics.
Veteran guard Jrue Holiday of the Boston Celtics is expected to make the cut for Team USA's 12-man roster for the Paris Olympics.
According to Shams Chanaria and Joe Vardon of The Athletic, the player was selected for his "two-way ability, point-of-attack defense and dynamic playmaking."
Holiday had previously represented Team USA in 2021 for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where they won the gold medal in the final game against current tournament host France.
This year, the guard is averaging 13 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.8 assists with the Boston Celtics, where he was traded from the Milwaukee Bucks at the beginning of the season.
