Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks is slated to miss at least four weeks of playing time after undergoing surgery on his left hand.
The player suffered an injury to the radial collateral ligament (RCL) of his fifth finger on his left hand and had to go through a medical procedure.
Young posted the following on his X (formerly Twitter) account, announcing that the procedure went with problems, thankfully.
Young suffered the injury during the game against the Toronto Raptors on February 23rd. He's been averaging 26.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 10.8 assists per game this season.
Currently, the Atlanta Hawks sit in 10th place in the Eastern Conference with 26 wins and 32 losses.
