According to Shams Chanaria of FanDuel TV, the Lakers are interested in players such as Dejounte Murray, Zach LaVine, Royce O'Neale, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Dorian Finney-Smith.

While the Lakers' interest in LaVine is well known, the Los Angeles team is finding it difficult to create the resources to match the guard's contract with the Chicago Bulls.

On the other hand, Murray is an attractive prospect for the Los Angeles Lakers, with Chanaria calling him a "top target" for the team. It is anticipated that deliberations between the player and the team will continue before the deadline.

Finally, the Lakers are also considering Royce O'Neale, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Dorian Finney-Smith from the Brooklyn Nets, as players who specialize in "three-and-defense."

Currently, the Lakers have a record of 24-25 and are currently at the ninth spot in the Western Conference.
