Chris Paul, an offseason addition to the Golden State Warriors this past summer, has sustained an injury.

According to Kendra Andrews of ESPN, the experienced guard has a fractured left hand.

Unfortunately, Paul will have to undergo surgery next week. A definite timetable has not been posted on the guard's return so far.

Before his move to the Golden State Warriors, Paul had a 3-year stint in the Phoenix Suns, which was disappointing as the team could not win a championship despite the ambitious roster and talented coaching staff.

Currently, with the Warriors, CP3, as he is commonly known among fans, is averaging 9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 7.3 assists.
