Petr Cornelie officially parted ways with Real Madrid following the EuroLeague championship campaign.
Real Madrid have officially announced the departure of Petr Cornelie.
During his time with Los Blancos, Cornelie won the EuroLeague and the Spanish Super Cup.
He averaged 5.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 6.7 PIR over 33 EuroLeague games. His ACB averages marked 4.4 points, 3.0 boards, and 4.8 PIR in 30 contests.
The 27-year-old big man joined Real on a one-year deal in the previous offseason. He became the fourth Frenchman in the Royal club, along with Vincent Poirier, Guerschon Yabusele, and Fabien Causeur.
Prior to Madrid, the 53rd pick of the 2016 NBA Draft spent the 2021-22 season with the Denver Nuggets and their G League affiliate Grand Rapids Gold.
In the NBA, he made 13 appearances and recorded averages of 1.1 points and 1.1 rebounds in 2.9 minutes per game.
