The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Houston Rockets last night and wrote themselves into the history books.

The Lakers made just 2 turnovers throughout the entire game, setting a new franchise record for the lowest amount of turnovers committed in a match in recorded history.

The previous record of 3 turnovers was set in 2001 against the Rockets as well, which was later repeated against the Orlando Magic in 2011. The Lakers won in all three games.

Last night, LeBron James led the way with an impressive performance, registering 48 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists which helped overcome Alperen Sengun's career game (33 points, 15 rebounds,  6 assists, 4 blocks).

With 20 wins and 24 losses, the Lakers are currently 13th in the Western Conference, only ahead of the San Antonio Spurs and the Rockets.
