Free agent Thomas Bryant has reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Lakers on a one-year deal, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
The 24-year-old will be given an opportunity to win starting center position, Haynes reports.
Bryant comes back to the Purple & Gold where he spent his rookie season after being a 42nd overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft.
He was waived by the Lakers in 2018 and signed with the Washington Wizards spending the past four seasons there.
He suffered a torn ACL in January 2021, but returned a year later and appeared in 27 games in the 2021-22 season. He averaged 7.4 points and 4.0 rebounds last campaign.
Thomas Bryant has registered 10.2 points and 5.7 points over 170 NBA career matches.
