The Dallas Mavericks plan to keep Frank Ntilikina when his $2 million contract for the 2022-23 season becomes guaranteed tomorrow, according to Marc Stein.
The 23-year-old joined the Mavs after four seasons spent with the New York Knicks. The 8th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft averaged 4.1 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists over 58 games last season.
His career averages in the NBA are 5.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 269 contests.
Ntilikina was a member of the French national team at Tokyo Olympics last summer, where he won a silver medal. The point guard contributed with 2.0 points, 1.0 rebound, and 1.8 assists in 9 minutes of playing time (4 matches).
