After spending the first month as a free agent, Goran Dragic has signed a deal with a new club.
According to NBA insider Jordan Schultz and later confirmed by Shams Charania from the Athletic, the Slovenian guard has agreed to a contract with the Chicago Bulls.
Dragic is signing a one-year, $2.9M deal with the Bulls, the reports state.
The Slovenian guard started the 2021-22 season with the Toronto Raptors. On November 28th, Dragic announced about stepping away for personal reasons. He was later included in a trade package that sent the guard to San Antonio Spurs.
After agreeing to a contract buyout, Dragic spent the remainder of the season with the Brooklyn Nets. He averaged 7.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 4.8 assists for the Nets.
Earlier today, Dragic scored 20 points in his last game wearing the Slovenian national team uniform on 6-for-13 shooting for 13 PIR to help Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic lead the team to a victory against Sweden in the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.
