Restricted free agent Cody Martin has agreed to a four-year, $32 million deal to return to the Charlotte Hornets, via Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The 26-year-old small forward averaged a career-best 7.7 points in 71 games (11 starts) for Charlotte in the 2021-22 season. He also had 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per match.
Martin is posting 5.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.1 assists over 171 career contests (24 starts) since the Hornets selected him with the 36th overall pick in the 2019 draft.
His twin brother, Caleb Martin, plays for the Miami Heat.
