Free agent center Jalen Smith has agreed to a two-year deal to return to the Indiana Pacers, per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
Pacers acquired 22-year-old Smith in a trade in January from the Phoenix Suns. The Pacers have also received a future second-round pick, while the Suns got Torey Craig.
Big man Smith finished last season strongly for the Pacers as he averaged 13.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1 block per game in 22 games after the trade.
2.08-meters tall Smith was the number 10 overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft selected by the Suns, where he spent one and a half-season.
