John Wall agrees to a 2-year $13.2 million contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, per his agency Klutch Sports' announcement.
The five-time All-Star has exercised a $47.4 million player option for the 2022-23 season with the Houston Rockets, but Wall agreed to give back $7 million in salary to complete a buyout with the Rockets, which allowed him to become a free agent.
The 31-year-old did not play a single game with the team last season as the two sides failed to come to an agreement on a role.
Wall last played for the Rockets in the 2020-21 season, when he averaged 20.6 points, 6.9 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.1 steal in 40 games.
First overall pick from the 2010 NBA draft, Wall spent his first 9 NBA career years with the Washington Wizards until he got traded to the Rockets in 2020.
