On the international stage, Curry has won two World Cup golden accolades in 2010 and 2014, but he lacks the most prestigious award – Olympic gold.

Asked if Steph Curry was missing something before winning Finals MVP, Steve Kerr said, "what he's missing is an Olympic gold medal. And I think he really needs to concentrate on making the 2024 Olympic team."

At the Golden State Warriors championship parade, Curry also mentioned that "'he is not good yet because he has to go play for coach Kerr in 2024."

The eight-time NBA All-Star has never participated in Olympic competition during his 13-year career.

Curry was not selected for the 2012 London Olympics, while he withdrew from consideration for the 2016 Rio Olympics, citing ankle and knee ailments as the major reason behind the decision.

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics also declined due to resting and recovery reasons.

The 2024 Paris Olympics is very likely the last chance for Stephen Curry, who will be 36 years old, to win the gold medal.
