EuroCup's squad is leading the best-of-five series 2-1, while vital Game 3 for Zalgiris is scheduled for Saturday in Panevezys.
With 33 seconds to play, Dovydas Giedraitis increased Lietkabelis' lead to four points by nailing both free throws (70-66). Janis Strelnieks missed on the other side, while Vytenis Lipkevicius hit one shot from the line (71-66).
Even though Arturas Milaknis tried to revive the Zalgiris' hopes with a late triple (69-71), Dovydas Giedraitis sealed the deal for the guests (73-69).
