Real Madrid's head coach Pablo Laso confirmed that Rudy Fernandez will be out for some time after the Copa del Rey tournament.
"We travel to Kaunas with the 13 available players. Rudy Fernandez is missing. He has not been able to train with the team," Laso stressed in the pre-game conference, via AS.com.
The 36-year-old Spanish veteran is averaging 6.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 7.8 PIR over 22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games this season.
The Royal club's bench boss also revealed the health state of other athletes.
"We have Fabien Causeur's injury, which together with Alocen's setback are injuries that are going to take some time. For Causeur, we hope it will be two or three weeks.
The good news is that Adam Hanga is all right and has already trained with the team. His ankle injury turned out to be nothing serious," Laso said.
Real Madrid will face Zalgiris Kaunas in an away match today, at 19:00 CET.
