Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv announced on Twitter that another one of their players, Keenan Evans, tested positive for Covid and will not help his team in their upcoming EuroLeague road game against Anadolu Efes Istanbul.

Evans has been averaging 8.0 points (33.3% 3PT), 3.7 assists, 2.8 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 10.6 PIR over 25.9 minutes of action in the EuroLeague.

He is the second player in two days to contract Covid within the Israeli powerhouse. Maccabi announced yesterday that Roman Sorkin also fell victim to the virus and will be unavailable to suit up.

Apart from their Covid-related issues, Maccabi also reported that Angelo Caloiaro has been suffering from an ankle injury and is "in great doubt" for the upcoming Euroleague game.

Maccabi are currently 12th in the EuroLeague standings with 11 wins and 12 losses.
