Zenit Saint Petersburg officially reported that five members of the team (4 players and 1 staff) have returned positive results in the latest COVID-19 tests before the road game against AX Armani Exchange Milan.
If new cases are identified in their club, Zenit will stick to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regulations, per the announcement.
Zenit added that they are taking all the necessary measures to prevent the further spread of coronavirus infection.
The Zenit-Armani Exchange game is the last duel standing this week in the EuroLeague. Other 8 matches were suspended due to COVID-19 outbreaks in the majority of teams.
The game is scheduled to be played in Milan on Friday, at 20:30 CET.
