Another Slovenian star joins Lithuanian champions. Zoran Dragic signed with Zalgiris Kaunas until the end of the season, as BasketNews revealed earlier in the day.

The 32-year-old guard will rejoin forces with Zalgiris head coach Jure Zdovc.

They both represented Slovenian National Team in the 2014 FIBA World Cup and 2015 EuroBasket. Dragic was one of the leading players on the Zdovc team, averaging 15.5 points per game back in 2015.

Recently, Dragic experienced a historical Olympic campaign with his national team.

Slovenia reached the semifinals, and Dragic averaged 12.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. He was highly efficient in attacking the basket from the 2-point (69%) and 3-point (45%) ranges.

Last season Dragic played in Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz. In EuroLeague, 1.96 m player averaged 8.5 points and 1.6 rebounds. He also averaged 8.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in the ACB league.

In his career, Zoran Dragic played for such teams as Anadolu Efes Istanbul, AX Armani Exchange Milan, Khimki Moscow Region, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, or Unicaja Malaga.
