Their third consecutive defeat in the EuroLeague was brought through the lack of offensive precision in the second half. Despite creating a chance for a turnaround, the Red and Whites were edged out during the final quarter.

Zvezda showed initiative, and Nate Walters had another good match with 18 points, 5 assists, followed by Nikola Kalinic's 14 points, 3 assists.

Coach Dejan Radonjic was brief in his post-match statement to the media:

"First of all, I would like to congratulate Monaco on their win. This was a close game. Monaco's two offensive jumps at the end of the match decided the winner. Our offense at the very end wasn't good, either. This is why tonight's victory is theirs", concluded Radonjic.

The Belgrade team now has a 2-4 score in the Euroleague. Their next chance at improving their current state is on Thursday at another away game. This time against AX Armani Exchange Milan.
