EuroLeague debutants AS Monaco strengthened their frontcourt with former NBAer Dwayne Bacon.

According to an official announcement, 26-years-old signed a deal until the end of the season.

"Monaco is a young team with a lot of ambitions and that made me want to join this group to give the best of myself and pull it to the top," Bacon said in an official announcement. "I also needed on a personal level to continue playing games at a very high level, knowing that in the NBA this prospect was quite complicated lately."

Bacon was signed by the New York Knicks back in August, but before the beginning of the season, he was cut from the roster.

Last season, Bacon spent with the Orlando Magic, where he averaged 10.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 72 games. Previously, Bacon played for the Charlotte Hornets for three seasons.
