Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade (4-1) won their second straight contest at the Adriatic League, handing Mornar Bar (0-5) their fifth straight loss 77-69 (20-25, 23-13, 15-14, 19-17).
Cvezda were down by four at the start of the second period (25-29) but went on an impressive 14-0 run to gain a double-digit advantage (39-29).
The Montenegrin squad came back in the third, briefly having a one-point advantage (44-43). Even though the Red Star bounced back and gained a seven-point lead, the visitors tied the game in the fourth quarter again (64-64).
But then, another spurt by Zvezda gave them a 73-65 lead with less than two minutes to go and that was enough for an eight-point win.
Ognjen Dobric led Zvezda with 22 points (3/5 2PT, 4/7 3PT, 4/6 FT), 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and 21 PIR. Ognjen Kuzmic added 14 points and 13 rebounds.
