Cvezda were down by four at the start of the second period (25-29) but went on an impressive 14-0 run to gain a double-digit advantage (39-29).

The Montenegrin squad came back in the third, briefly having a one-point advantage (44-43). Even though the Red Star bounced back and gained a seven-point lead, the visitors tied the game in the fourth quarter again (64-64).

But then, another spurt by Zvezda gave them a 73-65 lead with less than two minutes to go and that was enough for an eight-point win.
