The Georgian center suffered a transverse fracture in the right lumbar area during last Saturday's game against Bilbao Basket.
The Spanish team announced his replacement, Julian Gamble. The center of 2.08 m. played the last two seasons with Virtus Bologna, where he averaged 9.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and one block in almost 20 minutes of Italian Serie A action.
Gamble, 32, played for the University of Miami Hurricanes before starting his European basketball career.
His first team in the Old Continent was Saint-Vallier Basket Drome of the French Pro B (2013-14), He then went on to defend the colors of Basic-Fit Brussels (2014-16), Telekom Bonn (2016-18), Nanterre 92 (2018-19) and Virtus.
