Zenit St Petersburg aren't enjoying their stay in Cyprus as the Russian team fell to Olympiacos Piraeus 88-65 (21-19, 26-18, 19-12, 22-16) and suffered their second straight loss in Neofytos Chandriotis 2021 tournament.

Zenit jumped to an early lead, after a 4-0 start and then a 10-3 lead. But the Greek team didn't go away, as they evened the score and even took the lead at the end of the first quarter (21-19).

After Zenit tied the game at 21-21 to open the second quarter, Olympiacos went on a 14-4 run. Teams finished the first half with Piraeus team up by twelve (49-37).

In the second half, Olympiacos continued to build their lead. The Greek team was up by as many as 21 points. The final frame was a mere formality, which Olympiacos were still able to win, increasing their lead to a record 23 points.
