Thomas signed a one-year deal with the Kazan's club on July 14.
The experienced 2.03-meter forward spent the last two years as a member of Zenit St Petersburg.
Thomas averaged 9.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 13.4 EFF over 26 minutes in the EuroLeague last season. In the VTB United League, he was putting up 11.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 15.4 EFF over 25.3 minutes.
Before that, Thomas played for teams like Valencia Basket, Unicaja Malaga, and Pinar Karsiyaka.
