Sarunas Jasikevicius, the head coach of Barcelona, spoke to the club's TV about the team goals for the next season and how his project is moving forward.

"I think that Barcelona always needs to be at the top of every competition and being in the position to win. Last season we've reached the end of every competition we were in, in some cases we won, in others we didn't. But the idea remains the same if we're always at the top of every competition we'll have more chances to win titles."

The Lithuanian head coach also talked about his relationship with the fans and how important their support for the project of the Catalan club is: "A single season is not important, the most important thing is to stabilize the project. We saw, even in the current situation, that the fans want to come to the arena and want to see us playing, this is very important for me because it means that also from the outside the project looks serious and is moving forward well."

"The second year is much easier than the first one because you already know some of the situations, you have a better understanding of the environment. But the goals always remain the same: staying at the top and winning trophies," emphasized the four-time EuroLeague champion.

Jasikevicius also discussed some of the new arrivals on the team: "Jokubaitis is a young player but he already has a lot of experience at EuroLeague level and in the Lithuanian league as well. He can bring a lot of energy to our team, he made a lot of sacrifices to come here and that speaks highly of his character. Hayes is a very versatile player, he can give us a lot of options for the No. 3 spot, both offensively and defensively, that's why we decided to sign him.

In the last two seasons, Sertac Sanli played really well and I believe he has a skill set that other of our players don't have, he's going to bring something different. At the same time, I believe he can still improve and become an even better player."
