UNICS Kazan have announced the signing of 2.13 m center Tonye Jekiri to a one-year deal.
Jekiri represented TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz last season. Prior to that he played for LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne.
The Nigerian big man averaged 6.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 8.5 EFF over 18.8 minutes in the EuroLeague last season. He put up 6.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 10.0 EFF over 18.4 minutes in the Spanish Liga ACB.
His new team, UNICS, will compete in the EuroLeague next season as the EuroCup finalists.
