Newly acquired Eric Bledsoe is not expected to stay with the Memphis Grizzlies, Chris Haynes from Yahoo Sports reports.

Bledsoe, 31, was involved in a trade between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Grizzlies. The Pelicans sent Bledsoe and Steven Adams for Jonas Valanciunas.

The Grizzlies would also send the 2021 NBA Draft 17th, and 51st picks to New Orleans in exchange for 2021 NBA Draft 10th and 40th picks, as well as a protected 2022 first-round pick.

Kevin O'Connor from The Ringer adds that the Grizzlies are interested in moving up even more in the upcoming NBA Draft.

Bledsoe still has two years remaining on his contract, earning him $37.5 million. However, in the 2022-23 season, out of $19.38 million, only $3.9 million are guaranteed.

Last season, Bledsoe averaged 12.2 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.4 rebounds in 71 games.
