Zenit St Petersburg and the Russian power forward/center will continue their cooperation for two upcoming seasons.
32-year-old (2.08) has been a member of Zenit since 2015. Last season he averaged 1.5 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 0.2 assists in 14 EuroLeague games.
Anton Pushkov is the main old-timer of Zenit. He holds the club records for most games played and the most dunks.
"Anton is the keeper of the team spirit, a fighter, a player who helped out more than once in difficult situations. Last season was a prime example of this when we lost Alex Poythress due to injury, and Anton helped a lot to continue a successful streak of games and prevent the game slump. His sincere positivity and openness are very important for our team," said President of Zenit St Petersburg Alexander Tserkovny.
Pushkov began his professional career with Volzhanin-GES Volzhskiy in 2008 and stayed with the team until 2011. Then, he moved to the second team of Khimki Moscow and later joined the main team. With Khimki, he won the EuroCup in the 2011-12 season. After winning experience, he moved to the Krasnye Krylya and stayed there till 2015.
