Zenit St Petersburg have officially welcomed center/power forward Jordan Mickey to the team.
Mickey was selected 33rd in the 2015 NBA Draft. After two seasons with the Boston Celtics and their G League affiliate - Maine Red Claws - the 26-year-old played for the Miami Heat for one year.
After the season, he transferred over to Europe and represented Khimki Moscow Region, as well as Real Madrid. The 2.03 m American came back to Khimki last year and spent the season in Russia.
Mickey played in 28 EuroLeague games last season, averaging 15.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and 16.5 EFF over 29 minutes. In the VTB United League, he averaged 15.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks over 28 minutes.
