Last season's EuroLeague standout FC Bayern Munich gave Head Coach Andrea Trinchieri a contract extension. Both sides will keep working together for two more seasons.
The Italian specialist led Bayern to their first EuroLeague Playoffs appearance in club's history. There, the German team lost to the AX Armani Exchange Milan in a tight five-game series. Trinchieri, 52, ended up as the runner-up for the Coach of the Year award.
In German Basketball Bundesliga, Bayern fell short in the finals against ALBA Berlin.
Before coming to Munich, Trinchieri spent two seasons coaching Partizan Belgrade.
