Cassius Winston had one of the better games in the EuroLeague Round 26 battle against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade. After the match, FC Bayern Munich's head coach Andrea Trinchieri was asked to describe the guard game.

After getting drafted late in the second round of the 2020 NBA Draft, the FC Bayern Munich guard Cassius Winston spent two years in the Washington Wizards system. Throughout the two seasons, he got time to play alongside the league's superstars with Washington's Bradley Beal being one of them. In an interview with SDNA, Winston described the star guard as a hard worker first.
