Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia was self-critical after a painful season for the Phoenix Suns, promising the fans that the team will return to their best version.
Phoenix Suns were one of the most-dissapointing teams of the season in NBA, failing to secure a top 10 spot that would see them make the play-in tournament in the West.

Suns' owner Mat Ishbia threw direct words about former coach Mike Budenholzer, but Ishbia doesn't hide from the fact that he is responsible for the situation:
“Embarrassing season. Awful.. it was a failure," Ishbia noted.
"We have to do stuff differently. I’m disappointed. It was not fun to watch our team. I’m here for it and I’m here to be accountable. It was not fun to watch our team this season."
"What we’ve tried has not been successful. We thought it would work and it didn’t work. I have to do a better job on the identity of the Phoenix Suns."
Ishbia promised to Suns' fans that better time is coming:
"I will do a better job as an owner. You guys will feel the change. It will be undeniable. You will be proud of this team (again). Fans deserve better," Ishbia concluded.
