Dallas Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison and chief executive officer Rick Welts are holding a roundtable discussion on Tuesday morning with selected members of the Dallas media, according to Marc Stein.

Per the same report, no cameras or audio recording devices were allowed for Harrison's first session with local reporters since the blockbuster Luka Doncic trade. It's also an invite-only meeting.

In the aftermath of the Doncic-for-Anthony Davis deal, Harrison said in a press conference that the team was focused on building for the next 3 to 4 years, not the next decade.

After that statement, he went silent, declining to speak further with the media about the decision to move the franchise's face.

The backlash was swift. Harrison reportedly received death threats following the trade.

During the team's first home games afterward, fans gathered outside the arena in protest. Chants of "Fire Nico!" are sometimes audible inside to this day.

Meanwhile, the Mavs play a win-or-go-home Play-In game in Sacramento on Wednesday night.
